Common Ground is, IMHO, the BEST fair in Maine! NO thrill rides! NO cotton candy! NO Screaming children! NO long lines (except initial parking - pee before you come and BYO coffee)! NO barkers harassing you out of dollars for stuff you CAN'T win! NO preservatives nor chemical additives! CGF is a celebration of simple living, honest communication, clean gardening practices, green energy, beautiful and healthy farm animals and wonderful hand-crafted art! Then there's great musicians like... well, ME! Give yourself plenty extra time to drive up there as you'll park in satellite lots and ride a hay truck in to the grounds!
